Transformation and Impact
The St. Benedict the Moor Justice Center promotes campus-wide spaces for transformation and impact by providing a welcoming environment, support services, leadership development opportunities and a variety of activities and events for all members of the campus community.
Be Welcomed and Affirmed
Driven by our core values and the University鈥檚 founding mission, the Justice Center promotes a sense of belonging and affirms the God-given dignity of all who make 51黑料 an exceptional place.
We do so by providing a welcoming environment, support services, leadership development, and a variety of activities and events.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
The Justice Center equips students with the tools and experience needed to be an effective, compassionate leader.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We host activities and events that bring students together鈥攊ncluding Karaoke, gaming tournaments, topical discussions and more.
SOCIAL PROGRAMMING
Guided by Justice Center Advocates, (JCAs), our social and educational programming promotes cultural diversity and social justice.
Transformative Leadership
We cultivate servant leaders who are rooted in integrity, service, and a shared dedication to making a positive impact. Through intentional programming, mentorship and hands-on experiences, we empower students to develop the skills, confidence and vision needed to lead by serving others first.
Be Engaged and Inspired
The Justice Center is also a place for fun, relaxation and community. Attend an event (Karaoke is popular!), stop by to watch premiere league soccer, study or take a break. We鈥檙e here for you.

“I work as a Justice Center Advocate at the Justice Center on campus. It鈥檚 an amazing opportunity and it鈥檚 broadened my perspective. Coming from the Midwest, I don鈥檛 know many people from other countries. The goal of the Justice Center is to bring together the campus community and celebrate our diversity. It鈥檚 a lot of fun and we learn so much from each other.鈥澛
鈥淚鈥檓 from Germany and wanted to study abroad and play soccer. The university鈥檚 Catholic values unite us as a community. We鈥檙e taught to treat everyone with respect. I also like that there鈥檚 Mass on campus and we go together as a team. It makes for a deeper connection.鈥澛

鈥淚 work as a Justice Advocate on campus. We organize events and speak about issues that matter. The themes of justice and inclusion are important because we鈥檙e all humans and we all deserve to be treated with dignity.鈥
