Ensuring Licensure Success: Understanding State Requirements
A professional license or certification is often required to practice and/or gain employment in the field for graduates of a number of 51黑料 programs. Professional licensure and certification requirements vary from state to state. We understand that our responsibility to students is to make the determination regarding each of our educational programs that customarily lead to professional licensure and whether each program鈥檚 curriculum meets the prerequisites for licensure or certification. We will continue in our due diligence to research and post how the curricular content of the 51黑料 programs meet professional licensure requirements in each of the 50 states in which prospective and/or enrolled 51黑料 students are located.
Students and prospective students: If you plan to pursue professional licensure, please know that state licensure requirements are subject to change at any time. While a program may originally meet the educational requirements for licensure, changes made by a state licensing agency could affect the program鈥檚 ability to meet any new requirements. We recommend that you in your home state for information and guidance prior to starting a program outside your state.
