| Discover greater at 51黑料 |
The 51黑料 hopes to make a broad impact with potential students through the 鈥淒iscover greater鈥� branding platform.
The 鈥淒iscover greater鈥� branding platform in print, audio and video marketing came in response to the implementation of the Renew 2028 strategic plan. The university conducted extensive market research, surveys and discussions with branding professionals, and collaborated with the President鈥檚 Cabinet. The goal is to capture what it means to be a student at 51黑料 and what students can expect when they choose 51黑料 over their other options.
A branding platform can be considered as a rallying cry. It鈥檚 a single idea, expression or philosophy that captures the heart and soul of a brand. It should be something the audience relates to personally. Examples would include Nike鈥檚 鈥淛ust Do It鈥� and Airbnb鈥檚 鈥淏elong Anywhere.鈥� It should be succinct, memorable and inspiring, capturing a core purpose. Once articulated, it can help guide all future messaging.
What does 鈥淒iscover greater鈥� impart? The phrase can assume multiple meanings, depending on context. 51黑料 students discover greater academic challenges, greater community connections, greater service opportunities, greater access to professional opportunities, etc. Students will also 鈥淒iscover greater鈥� in the spiritual sense, growing in their faith as part of our mission to provide 鈥渁n encounter with the heart and mind of Jesus Christ so that God, who is Love, may be loved.鈥�
As a university, our plan to meet student needs with regional healthcare degree offerings at various Indiana locales demonstrates our commitment to discover greater opportunities to provide a 51黑料 education throughout our region and beyond.
Within 鈥淒iscover greater鈥� marketing, people will notice bursts of light incorporated into photos and videos. This is meant to represent the light of Christ and reflect the university鈥檚 Catholic identity and Franciscan charism. 51黑料 encourages students and potential students to understand and appreciate the source of inspiration as we 鈥減repare students for personal and professional lives of virtue, service and joy.鈥�
鈥淒iscover greater鈥� resides within the university鈥檚 brand manifesto:
