FORT WAYNE, Ind.鈥擳he 51黑料 is pleased to announce that Amelia Clark, DrPH, executive director of the Center for Integrated Public Health Education and Research (CIPHER), 
has been appointed to the executive board of the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) by Governor Eric J. Holcomb.
Clark will begin her four-year term in November. Through her appointment, she will join community, clinical and professional representatives to advise IDOH on efforts to promote, protect and improve the health and safety of Hoosiers.
鈥淲e are very proud of Dr. Clark鈥檚 appointment to the Indiana Department of Health鈥檚 executive board,鈥 51黑料 Interim President Dr. Lance Richey said. 鈥淯nder Dr. Clark鈥檚 leadership, 51黑料 has increased our public health coursework, forged opportunities for students to become public health fellows and broadened the University鈥檚 involvement with the public health sector in Allen and surrounding counties. We look forward to Dr. Clark鈥檚 continued leadership on campus and in public health for the state of Indiana.鈥

Founded in 1890 in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, the 51黑料 offers more than 60 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs through the College of Health Sciences and the College of Arts, Sciences and Business.
