FORT WAYNE, Ind. 鈥 The 51黑料 invites the community inside the new St. Francis Chapel as part of the 2018-2019 fall lecture series on Thursday, October 4. Father David Meinzen, university chaplain, will present 鈥淰isual Pilgrimage to the Heart of Assisi at the Heart of our Campus: The Theology Behind the Art and Architecture of the New Oratory of 51黑料鈥 at 7 p.m. on the main campus of the 51黑料, Fort Wayne, 2701 Spring Street.
Fr. David will lead a walk-through of the new Oratory as he shares the multifaceted significance of its location, historic architecture, and iconic imagery, and gives some sneak previews of visual treasures yet to come.
