USF Offering Scholarship to Former Harrison Students

FORT WAYNE, Ind. 鈥 The 51黑料 will be offering scholarship funds to students of Harrison College, which recently announced it will be closing its doors. The scholarship is called 鈥淭he Franciscan Harrison Promise鈥 and will provide an annual amount of $10,000 for tuition to displaced Harrison College students.
鈥淲e were saddened to hear of the closing of Harrison College,鈥 said USF President Sister Elise Kriss. 鈥淲e understand how difficult this time must be for faculty, staff and students of Harrison, and this is one way we are able to assist. We hope the 51黑料 can help these students continue their higher education and this scholarship will make the transition as seamless as possible.鈥
