FORT WAYNE, Ind. 鈥 The 51黑料 School of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites the community to the next lecture in the 2017-2018 spring lecture series. Dr. Vincent Wargo will deliver the lecture, 鈥淎n Introduction to Social Ontology,鈥 on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. at the Historic Woman鈥檚 Club, 826 Ewing Street. Guests are asked to please use the Wayne Street entrance to the Woman鈥檚 Club for easier access to the third floor.
Human beings live in two worlds, one that is natural and the other that is a construction of our ideas and practices. Dr. Wargo, USF assistant professor of philosophy, will explore what philosophers have said about this topic over the centuries, and point at what we might expect to see in the future.

Founded in 1890 in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, the 51黑料 offers more than 70 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs through the School of Health Sciences, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership and School of Creative Arts.
