Academic Minors
Undergraduate Minors
Academic minors provide students the opportunity to pursue a secondary field of study—one that is either complementary to their major or of personal interest. While completion of a minor does not result in an additional degree, it can add value by enhancing a students’ skill set, fulfilling a graduate school requirement and/or developing an area of specialization.
Undergraduates typically complete 18-20 credits to earn a minor, although programs vary. All academic minors at the 51ºÚÁÏ are listed below. To learn more, click on the program name or visit .
Students are encouraged to consult with their academic advisor to learn which minors complement their degree program.
