Residence Life Programming and Staff
Our Job is to Make You Feel at Home.
The Office of Residential Life and Housing is here to provide residents with a safe, welcoming and engaging residential experience. Our team consists of professional staff members and student Resident Assistants (RAs) who support the day-to-day operations of our residence halls while also serving as mentors to students of all class levels.
Throughout the year, our RAs host an array of monthly events designed to help residents build connections, create meaningful community and step outside of their comfort zone to try new things. These events range from craft nights to cookouts, as well as social and faith-centered gatherings that encourage students to engage with one another, grow in their relationship with God and feel at home on campus.

鈥淚鈥檓 an RA, and I really enjoy the position. I like the responsibility of helping students and seeing them grow over time. I meet them on the first day and I remind them that I鈥檓 here to help. They can knock on my door any time.鈥

鈥淚 work as an RA on campus. I was inspired to do it because I wanted to help first-year students get acclimated. I like the sense of community that I can help create. We鈥檙e all away from home and it鈥檚 not easy at first, so we take care of each other.鈥
Takya Wallace ’28 Marketing
鈥淚 work as an RA on campus. I like working with people and helping them. The most important thing as an RA is to know my community, to know the people on my floor and to be the first contact for them with any issues.鈥
